Benton,
I'm in New Orleans.
I'm siiting here watching the temperature change at least every 15 minutes from 49-50-49-51F.
I put on my hat and gloves and coat this morning to run down stairs and cut a rose-I get one rose a week from three trees!
I can do the 108 with no problem but anything below 70-fuggedabout it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey Joyce - sounds like paradise to me.

We get very little snow here in Seattle, but this morning my garden was covered in a lite dusting of white. Kind of pretty really.

My roommate left for work a bit ago, though and found out front the driveway, the sidewalk and the street were a solid sheet of ice. He wisely came right back inside. It is supposed to get up to the mid 40's today, so all will soon be gone, but still....

Roses seem to do better in the cold than some flowers. I've seen a couple blooming up the street within the past week. Amazing!

Stay cool...er...I mean warm. ; )

Judy

Hahaha!
Judy that's just me whining~This fascination with weather is also recent for me; I have a very simple way to deal with it. If it is wet or cold go in the house until it is dry and warm!
Living in Los Angeles spoiled me "too cold" happened inside because of air conditioning:)
In New York-they treated me to a blizzard where I had to walk through a tunnel of snow taller than me to go to the market-I did that one time only!
Now here in this big old house-its more like triage-I never stop closing windows or opening windows or turning off the heaters or turning them on, plugging up something or unplugging.
It is just so 18th century!
I'm really glad I had a chance to live in other kinds of dwellings to experience those new fangled doo dads-like automatic dishwashers! Wheeeeeee Doggie!

Oh-and I have to thank all of my friends while I'm here. I goggled my website which servers absolutely no purpose so far other than a phot album of sorts-it was the 3rd one listed on the first page!
No one but you guys know it exists-is this a fluke or what!
I'm Lovin' ya'll!

Hello Sara,

Thank you for the lovely humming bird.

He adds some more beauty to our lovely garden here.

I don't think I've ever seen a real one, but in the future, I'll heed your warning and be careful. I'd better warn the cats, Harry Potter, Dodo and Koffee!!

Thanks again for this lovely contribution.

Angel cuddles,

Sarah

Hello Judy,

Sara's hummingbird is lovely isn't it?

I've just come into the garden for a dose of tranquility.

Been a very hectic period for me, but I've made time to come visit and greet my friends.

The sun was shining beautifully here today.

I think the sun is shining here in our Mother Earth's garden too. My forum has been nominated for the BFA. I'm so thrilled.

How lovely.

Here's a tranquil garden picture with the water shimmering:
