The owl is magnificent.  We used to have one just like it in our barn.

He would fly about in the dark, looking like a ghost.

One of our neighbours had a whole family in their attack and we would sneak up and watch them.  The funny fluffy babies were so sweet.

I thought of you this evening.  I was returning from petanque and it became dark very quickly.

I stood in the garden looking up at the night sky and there were our friends shining bright.

How lovely!  Miss Toad in Toad Hall.

Raymonde has just been looking at the photos.  She was very interested as a little boy had taken his toad to school yesterday!

I hope you have little master and miss toads.

We had some toads living at the back of our swimming pool, in the rockery. They would sometimes feel brave and come to the house. I trod on one in the dark and I was so upset, but he just walked off as if nothing had happened.

I enjoy views like this when I go to Montségur.  You walk up to the top and then look in amazement at the beautiful panaramic scene in front of you.  Mother Nature's treasures.
