Hi Sarah,
 I have always enjoyed this forum, however never had much to contribute to it.  Perhaps O still don't, but it would depend on what type of seeds are sown and what varieties of flowers bloom.  Shirley and I continually spread seeds of encouragement for song artists that want to make it to the next level.  Our garden is beginning to bloom.  Our client (and friend) Sherri Lynn Rakes, a member of AdlandPro Community is emerging as a beutiful SunFlower.  I say Sunflower because she is already standing tall in our garden.  Sherri has had a long string of tragedies in her life, up and down the ladder to success.  To skip all that and get to the point, I had sent messages out to many of our prospective clients with information on how to be accepted to perform at the 500 festival mini marathon in Indianapolis (One of the biggest events leading up to the Indy 500 Race.  Sherri Lynn was the only one that followed through.  She was in Indianapolis on April 16th with her husband, her son Maek, and his girlfriend Ashley (too bad she's so young.)In preparation for their arrival I somehow managed, with Shirley's help, to set up a Noodle Taste Testing event at the new Noodles Company restaurant that opened in our neighborhood.  It was a complete success.  We taped Sherri introducing herself and talking about how great the food was and also interviewing their manager Zack.  Later that evening, we brought Sherri Lynn to the Lizaeds Tavern which is Hard Rock and Metal Rock oriented.  Sherri Lynn is Country and a whole lot Christian.  As she sang a mixture of Country and Gospel I noticed that the people at the pool table had laid down their pool sticks to listen and watch this dynamic voice singing music that they seamed to have never heard before.  The owner, Liz, approached us before we left and thanked Shirley and I for bringing some class to her tavern.  When I had spoke to her only a couple of days prior, she was hesitant saying that she did not think that it was a good idea to have a Gospel singer perform in a Heavy Metals band.  I later learned that the girls that were helping the band set up told Sherri Lynn that they loved her voice and the songs as well.  Before we left, Sherri went over to Dennis, (Owner of the Tavern) and thanked him for allowing her to sing. Dennis told her that he wanted to book her.  Sherri smiled and said, "That's fine, but you have to talk to my Talent Promoters Mike and Shirley first."  I had not known about that conversation but I went over to thank him as well. I gave him my card and told him that if he wanted to book her to give me a call.  He smiled and said, "As soon as I have the date set I will call you." And he shook my hand.  When you can take a Gospel singer into a Heavy Metals club and have people come over and say how great you are, there just might be another garden being planted.
