Kari,

A rose for you!!  Thank you for the poem.  It really came at a good time for me.  I raised 2 sons and have always been very close to them.  During their adult life we have been separated by distance.  For the past 3 years my eldest has lived within 10 minutes of me and now he is leaving to seek happiness in US Northeast.  The thing I want most is for him to be happy but it with sad heart I see him go.  He will be leaving the 8th of Nov. and I am trying to be happy for him but my sadness shows through.  Your poem did come at a good time.

Thank you,

Sara

Sara,

I so can identify with your place right now. When I left Virginia, my eldest opted to stay behind. It was the hardest thing I felt I I had ever had to do in my life.

I felt he was un-prepared for life on his own, but he insisted. He is now working and doing alright and although I am not there, I am greatful to those who are around him.

Many Hugs

Kari
