You know what I don't get with these things - they are all the same so dont these people sending this crap even have a clue that these are scams?  I mean ok they know they are scamming...but dont they even have a clue as to these being labled scams all over the net ?  Any person with an ounce of brain would naturally investigate the source of what they are claiming.. obviously, it doesnt take much to learn that 'the senders of this type of email' are posted all over in the form of beware about this, etc... and there they are!  They must think we fell off the onion truck yesterday.  If I had a penny for every tme I've gotten one of these ridiculous emails from lotteries to dead people with noone to claim the money I'd be a wealthy woman by now... yep, just one penny would do it - when will they ever get a clue ?  Lord have Mercy!

Thanks Kathy

I like yourself and many others have had these emails

The best advice is exactly what you said JUST DELETE

I also had lots of emails from someone in england claiming to be a soliciter representing a lotto company and i had won 2.5 million U.S. they then ask you to contact a courier company to arrange release of your funds to your bank account

On doing some checking in the english phone directory and the business directory the solicitor and the courier company do not exist I wrote to him and told him of my findings and that I believed he was the same person in both companies and that i had aquired his isp and email address and this information was going to handed over to scotland yard and signed the letter

Detective seargent {my name} of the new zealand police

and havent heard from him since

I suggest anyone getting these sort of emails do what I did you can get the ip information by right clicking on the email and go to properties and you get all the information you need

Hi Kathy,

Thank you for the heads up on these scams.  I have received a lot of these in my yahoo.com email account also, I just delete them as soon as  I read the first 2 lines.

Blessings,

Beryl

Kathy,

It is amazing how many people get hooked on these scams.  Somewhere (probably Fox News) that officials had cracked down on at least one of these operations.  Guess a new one has flared up, since as someone posted here, they make lots of money off them.  People can be so vulnerable and they play to that.

Have a great week,

Sara
