Hi everyone! I'm new here and I need a little help! Ok maybe a lot of help. I am having trouble linking to some of my affiliates. Do some websites allready created by companies not allow you to place banners and links? Or do I need an html editor or something like that? I downloaded a Free on (page breeze) and no I'm not an affiliate of theirs,lol. But it won't let me connect to my host to publish my links and banners, It says ftp host, how do I find out my sites ftp host??  Many thanks in advance for all of your help and patience.   sincerely Harold DeWitt

I had that problem before also.  Have you contacted your web host and/or the affiliate company for help? 

 

Do you have an FTP software package?  You'll need that to upload your pages to your web server.  I use a package called Cute FTP Home by a company called Global Scape.  It's very easy to use..  Here's a link to their web site.  http://www.globalscape.com/cuteftp/ 

This is not an affiliate site. :) Just a company that provides FTP software.  You can test drive it for 30 days to see if you like it.

Depending on your web hosting company, you should be able to find out the FTP address for your server through your Cpanel or what ever login your hosting company has. It's usually something like ftp.your.website.com
