Re: God's Justice and Judgement

Hi Jim,

Well, I have been through the passages and the forum, and I must say that God will bless you for spreading his Word this way.  There are so many passages, and Arthur's post and Keith's are very thought provoking as well.  The TRUTH is in the Word.

I have yet to understand the timing of God's judgement, yet I firmly believe that it will be fair.  Sometimes, I get caught in the the idea that there are millions and millions of us that He will judge, and each on an individual basis.

I follow the 10 commandments, and tend to have to simplify things.  Like Saras' honesty, honesty, honesty post.  For me it comes down to walking a walk that is as consistent with the walk of Jesus as I possibly can.  On a daily basis I falter, and like Doug said, there is a peace in knowing that my confessions are heard, the trangression forgiven and then forgotten.   My sincere confession and the willingness to try harder not to falter, are at what gives me the sense of peace, that though I will never be perfect, I am moving in the right direction for a wonderful judgement day!

Bless you, Jim.  Your evangelism will be rewarded, and I am continuing to pray for you in your career change decision.  Please share it with us when you have made it!!

Dear James,

one with God is a majority, hence I believe that you will take the right decision about your next opportunity. I love this presentation about Justice and Judgment. I will just add a simple statement as I see both. The Scriptures clearly refers to Justice and Judgment as follows :

' The evil you do shall be meted unto you, and it shall be full and running over'  There is no better way to live ,when these words are carefully studied and kept by all those who Love God.

Why should anyone wait until he is dead, to hope that its only thereafter that his sins or goodness will determine his final status with God?  We all know that God is a very present help in trouble. He is equally a very present and constant judge on all motives, believes and commitments .He is constantly watching over us, and he takes  cognizance of our daily activities. Time and God is one being in Spirit. There is no remedy for lost time.

In principle, our sins are judged each moment we commit them, and are forgiving every moment we seek a honest redemption from sin. Sins are not simply forgiving because we ask God to do so, but only when our appeal is honest enough to appease God.

If a child continues to steal and you as the father forgive him, Thats just a moral forgiveness. God will only forgive the child when he stops doing the same wrong things. So also are we all men before God. We make and build our way to Heaven , when we perceive sin and evil as same , and avoid to do them in our daily life's.

Jesus said to evil when he was temped ' GET BEHIND ME SATAN' . When something is behind you, you can't see it again. Hence out of sight is out of mind. When we keep away sin and evil from our minds, we have already enabled a clearly defined and objective state into a Heavenly guided Home. Its God that works with us daily to fulfill such.

Sin is never forgiven until it is completely abandoned. Hence no specific judgment day awaits humans. We choose our Heaven according to our motives and deeds, so that when Jesus comes, we don't expect him to die a second time to clean our unforgivable and  un-abandoned sins to enter into Heaven. When we seek  God truly, we find peace and Love. Thats the only true justice and Judgment.

Thanks

Pierre Louma

Beautifully said in highlighted scripts. I do believe a person who was evil can be transformed into a born again christian. If you can review over the bible, Moses was taken by the Eyptian Princess near the river and was accepted as one of their people. He had slain a Eyptian man for torturing one of hebrew slaves. So god was forgiving toward Moses because Moses couldn't bear anymore humiliation from the Eyptian guard whipping this servant. That's when God selected Moses to deliver them out from Eygpt. God had a plan for Moses to take them to the promise land. If I can recall because they rebell against they are still looking for the promise land until this day!!! The theif that was beside the lord on the cross ask Jesus to remember him. I think God is just, patient, forgiving, loving supreme spirit. In the bible when you read their is no image to be seen. He says if you see me you will not live, it very scary what he pronounces in the scriptures. When he appears everyone falls down to his knees. I think God is an alien. There a few hints in the bible that may indicate that. God Bless You!! Alexia
