It is now Syndicated!
8/3/2005 5:06:39 PM
Hello all, Maybe you have seen or maybe you haven't but, I have been real busy. Some of you know I have been working real hard on this blog thing and I'm still learning. Well, you now can add my blog to your Yahoo and MSN pages! or anyplace that you have an aggregator or reader. The other point I wish to make is now that it is syndicated that means it all the ad content will be spidered in each update or every 24 hours, whichever is earlier. This is the quickest way to get your business in the search engines, bar none. I have five text ads spots available. The ads run for 30 days and stay archived with the articles they are with forever. So, 30 days of ads in a sydicated column that are submitted everyday to search engines and archived forever. Check out the rates and see if you can find a deal like this anywhere. But, ad or no ad, please add this blog to your reader and stay up on news and information that can benefit your business. These instructions are also included at the bottom of the blog. ============================================= To put this blog on your Yahoo! or MSN page ... http://my.yahoo.com When you login, you'll be taken to your Yahoo! page immediately. What you want to do next is go look under the Yahoo! search box to the left and click on the "Add Content" link. This will bring you to a new page. From there, over to the right by the "Find" button you'll see an "Add RSS by URL" link, click on it. A new window will open with a "Web Form". Simply copy and paste http://swordsmegatraffic.blogspot.com/atom.xml into the web form and click on the "Add" button. Now, you should see the Blogs name in front of you. Simply click on the yellow "Add To My Yahoo!" button and your feed will be added. The next thing you should see is the "Site Feed" with the "Headlines". Click on one of them, it should take you to the Blog, to the desired Headline you chose. Your My Yahoo! page should Now have the Blogs "Site Feed" Headlines listed at the bottom. http://www.msn.com Once your login to your My MSN account you should see an "Add Content" link under the MSN logo to your left. Click on it. A pop-up should now be displaying. Simply copy and paste http://swordsmegatraffic.blogspot.com/atom.xml into the web form provided and click the Search button (the green button with the arrow). You should now be looking at Check Box with the Blogs name beside it. Check off http://swordsmegatraffic.blogspot.com/atom.xml and then press the OK button at the bottom. The Blogs site feed has now been added to your My MSN page. ============================================= I hope you will consider adding this blog for your reading pleasure. To our success. Good question. In the entertainment and news industries, syndication is a method of making content available to a range of outlets simultaneously. For a fuller definition I refer you to read ... http://encyclopedia.thefreedictionary.com/Syndicated This will cover a vast amount on syndication, including the web. Kenneth R Sword Jr

Hi Kenneth, I put your URL on my Yahoo page. Now what? I am tired of running into brick walls. Seems nothing works very well unless you know what you are doing....like you do know what to do and where to go. I am very glad for you and know you are going to the TOP! When I go back and study the plan, perhaps I will be able to understand the set-up. Thanks for once again bringing good ideas to us. Betty http://www.powerline.homestead.com/index.html

Hi Betty, Don't get discouraged now. Best way to approach this would be to copy the instructions to your word processor and save it. Print it if you can. And like walking, one step at a time. You should see the blog title and a headline that is in the blog. If you don't see it yet it can take up to 24 hours for your page to update. If you don't see it by Friday let me know. BTW Betty, I am starting on some plans that maybe you would like to hear. I'll try to contact you this weekend about it. Kenneth R Sword Jr
