A Simple Message

How can you search for peace of mind,
Reach out and you may touch it,
That all will see as you can be,
The one who creates and primes it,

You are the one who keeps things going,
And keeps all pathways clear
For those within to feel it flowing
And all who enter there

So look no more for methods
Look no more for signs
They are right in front of you
As the planets they align

Be kind to yourself o precious one
And see what the future holds
At times you will indeed see the sun
As it shines so bold

So it is within your heart
A bold and brightening beam
Of sunlight that shows to all impart
Although to yourself blind it seems

Seek out those who will help you feel
Important as you are
And always remember one main thing
Keep reaching for the stars

Thanks both Diane and Dimetra,

Diane,

I agree that things can take time, but when I look at the big picture my happiness is my doing. I cannot rely on others to create it for me, nor can I blame others completely for any negative outlooks in my life. My peace of mind is my own to create. Now how hard that job can be is also up to me LOL. It is usually our own stumbling blocks that create the lack of peace we wish to achieve. They say that After you do all you can for yourself, the rest comes to you. I believe that is very true as well.

Hi Kari,

Thanks for sharing this Poem with your friends. I have read it many times before I was ready to post. Kari you have touched on a subject most are aware of but not sure how to change. To look inside of yourself takes courage which some people are not ready to muster together to help themselves. The real reason is the fear of seeing something they do not want to remember.

Keep writing Kari as it is touching all of those who read your poems. You inspire everyone with your words and knowledge within your writing.
