I am quite new here. I hope to both contribute to and to learn from the Adlandpro Community.
I too was in Real Estate sales, developement and investment in Vancouver,BC for 6-7 years. I am still a passive investor in properties. Seems like R.E is in my blood.
I then left R.E. as a career and got involved with a personal developement company called The People's Network , out of Dallas.
TPN was structured like any MLM. We had over 65 mentors, the likes of Jim Rohn, Mark Victor Hanson, Brian Tracy,David D'Arcangelo,Les Brown, Paul J. Meyer...just to name a few.
Lectures in all types of subject matter were filmed in our own studio and broadcast via our own satelite dish into subscribers' homes 24/7 in half-hour segments.
The mission was to empower the world, one family at a time. I guess the concept was before its time. The costs were too exorbitant. The satelite communication software alone cost $9Mil.
After 4 years, TPN was sold to PPL, Pre-Paid Legal.The satelite program was discontinued.
And that 's how I got started in the network marketing industry.
