OK, I'm back.

WOW! Just read the history lesson on Memphis ... most of which I did not know!!  LOL

About Memphis' weather ... "humid subtropical climate" ... that is an UNDERSTATMENT!!! LOL

It is HOT, HOT, HOT ... :p

And the winter .. we used to get more snow. I can remember as a child getting good snowfalls and able to go play and build snowmen ... not anymore!!! :(

There is a saying about Memphis' weather  ... "If you don't like the weather, just wait .. it'll change!" LOL

A great example of that is back when I was a child, don't remember my exact age, but it was Spring and everyone was out playing in shorts, nice warm Spring weather. The next week we were out of school for a day or two because of SNOW!!! :p

Anyway, thanks for the history lesson and thanks again for having me here!!

The Memphis in May barbecue contest is very famous!! I used to go as a child with my parents. Now, my husband and I have only been twice .. it's changed a lot ... but still has great barbeque!
