These words could have come from you, I'm sure. They remind me of a speaker who remarked about the government using what it's extreme purpose is - the use of force. The trouble is morality cannot be legislated.
My ideas about influencing morality follow the lines of what I heard Chuck Swindol say this morning about positive reenforcement contrasted with what happens in reality. We've all heard about people getting killed or beat up because they told the truth or tried to help someone in trouble. Contrasting what we try to teach the next generation, to reward positive and good actions and behavior with strokes of positive affirmations.
