Hi Marion,

That is a beautiful story.  I have received it in email but had forgotten about it.  Dogs, cats and other animals that God blessed humans to be lucky enough to be side-by-side with in this world have so many talents that we forget about.

Humans need to stand back, take a deep breath, and realize we are not alone on the "intelligence level."  It is a well known fact that dogs and cats can actually smell disease in humans.  Humans, being God's favored creature, get a little full of ourselves sometimes and forget that the other creatures of God love us greatly.

This is such a great story, it brought tears to my eyes. I have a somewhat similar story in that I have breast cancer also. I finished my treatments in April, and am just fine now. I know I am Not going to get the cancer back. And a wonderful kitten helped me thru the rough times. Animals are just the best to keep you going.

I have 17 of them so they do keep me going.

Thanks so much for passing this story along.

I worked in a hospital that allowed patiences to have their pets come in to visit. You would not believe how it lifted their spirits. Most did not even click on their pain meds while the critters were there. Some people had roommates that did not have a pet to come in so they 'shared'. Even people that were not fond of animals loved having them visit. It built a wonderful healing relationship.

After Caitlinn had surgery our normal "hyper" JRT would just lay by her on the floor. He never once jumped on the bed or the couch to play. Cait being 10 was Zed's rough house playmate. He knew that she needed tender care.

I loved the story. Thank you!

Hello Leslie,

Wow, that's wonderful that you have dogs and work in an animal clinic.

Glad you enjoyed the story!

Sound like your golden retriever is a wonderful dog as well.

Blessings,
Marion

Hi Pat,

Now that is an amazing video!  I have never seen anything like it.

I have a cocker spaniel and two cats and they get along just fine.  So you just never know who will and won't get along.

Thanks for coming by and for the video.

Blessings,
Marion
