I am cleaning out and de-cluttering my own house because we are planning a move from Michigan to the North Carolina mountains.

If I'm not moving it, I'm getting rid of it now... and I have a lot of great stuff that I know others can use. I will be taking a lot of stuff to Goodwill or the Salvation Army.

THEN I also decided that I probably know a lot of people online who can use what I don't need anymore... and maybe you have something I CAN use.

And I love networking and making new friends... and what better way to do it than by bartering?

So... BarterExchange was born!
