Somaly Mam is a very courageous woman.  Atrosities such as these are taking place in many countries in the world and it takes the citizens to stop it rather than the governments of the world.  Although many people do not realize it, this is where the term Collateral Damage first came into being.  If a country has a product that you can use, such as oil, cheap products, Diamonds or Gold, the dealing country will turn their heads and look away rather than saying, "Stop these unthinkable acts or we won't do business with you."  So now, a brave woman may eventually loose her life for making people realize that these conditions really do exist.  The citizens of the United States are the most compassionate citizens anywhere mainly do to the fact that many citizens came from other countries such as Cambodia, however over the past few years we have elected time after time, politicians that are more interested in voting themselves another raise than they are at restoring decency.  People have to stand behind those like Somaly Mam and insure that her life and others that follow in her quest to free these innocent children are protected.  I'm sure that you are aware that these innocent young girls are also living in sub-standard conditions and cramped quarters.   God Bless Somaly Mam and God protect the innocent children.
