Alright,i have to find out how the cross making biz is going if you got your kit yet ?

I too, looked over the site and it seems like a good try, but,am wondering how picky they are about the placement of the wires. You know how it goes with the properly made item sometimes !

Hi Marie,

Yes I got my kit approximately 5 business days after I ordered.  They send you a sample cross necklace and an instructional video.  My first several crosses looked sloppy but after about the 7th try it went much better.  Your start-up kit has enough supplies to make 25 cross necklaces.  You only need to send in 10 completed necklaces in your Test Unit.  Even if you don't think they'll pass inspection, if they look good enough to you, you can sell them to people you know.  The retail price is $9.99 per necklace.  Right now is a good time to get started before the holiday season, and also making 2-color crosses for football teams is a great idea.  I made a yellow and purple cross for my brother-in-law for his Minnesota Vikings and he really liked it.

I'm including some links below to give you a better idea of what the actual work involves:

Here is a picture of how the nails need to be bent to make the crosses: http://www.topbiztoday.com/bentnails.jpg

Here's an online demonstration of how to tie a double fisherman's knot that's needed for the necklace cord: http://www.animatedknots.com/doublefishermansrescue/index.php

How has this business been going for you?  Have you sent in your test necklaces and have they approved them for you?

I sent in a test unit of 10 and they approved 6 of them.  I figured a few of them may not be 100% but I just wanted to see their standards.

Hi Kathleen,

Thanks for the information, I will take a closer look.  Back in December I was off from work due to a injury, I got at work.  I tried not this one, but one where I made necklaces.  It helped to put some money in the bank, but was really hard.  The company was very picky.  Thanks for sharing.

Beryl
