Hi Thomas
Did she spend time for being a traitor? She wasn't executed, because as far as I know she still lives and breathes.
If those had been your brothers over there fighting, and she caused the torture and death of them, would you still feel the same as you do now?
My brother fought in Vietnam, not because he wanted to, because he was drafted. My husband fought in Vietnam, not because he wanted to, but because he was drafted. I had friends I went to school with, that never came back from Vietnam, All drafted. Some of these guys, never found. Some were killed and shipped home in boxes. What was left of them.
Should we forget about these men, and forget what Jane did to our guys over there. NO, I don't think so.
I'll say here, what I said in my forum, she should have been executed, along with all the other traitors.
If she's living with guilt, she should be. She should be reminded everyday of the men, she caused to be, beaten and the men that were tortured to death.
What about the fathers? Their children never getting to see them again. What about our brothers? Who never came home, and will never be able to see again. What about the mothers and sisters who served as nurses, who never came home? Are we to forget? No, and we shouldn't forget about the crimes committed against them either.
