Hi Mary

I for one tend to agree with Phil on some of the points he has made

I, like many, many people it seems, joined up for "The Pre-Launch"  Mainly, from my standpoint, I wanted to see what was going on.  I  don't have any reason to doubt that it is legitimate and it could make many people rich.

For those willing to take this gamble, I sincerely hope it works out for all of you.  Just be sure and let people know up-front what it REALLY COSTS

And I have to say that I am delighted that we have two qualified accountants commenting on these programmes who understand the significance of the numbers involved.

I dont think that the arguement presented by Arild about the price of entry has any validity - a high entry price is not  a guarantee
.
of success in a programme - it only relects the owners ability to sell it at that price.

The majority of network marketing programmes, as all profesional networkers will know, have a product or service to sell, and a joining fee or membership fee is not necessarily indicative of its potential.

The large
legitimate mulitlivel marketing companies are great examples of this free entry system. - HerbalLife, Forever Living, Mary Kay, Tupperware  etc. to name but a few  and their money is made on product sales and their members or promoters earn primarily on sales  comissions - both by them and their downlines. And many of the more reliable surf sites make money by selling advertising.and do not depend on membership fees for their payouts.

In any event - I am not quite clear if he advocates this high entrance price as a point in favour or against uVme!!

Equally, I dont think the 24/7 focus on one company is necessary - there are many successful marketers who have a portfolio of businesses and do very nicely thank  you and people who dedicate all their time to one bad business and fail.

The integrity of the business and its product is the key to success

We have a saying in England "You can't make a silk purse from a sow's ear" - however hard you sell it.

We will have to wait and see how uVme developes.  As a non gambler and non gamer  it is not for me - but we will certainly watch this space. A lot of due diligence appears to have been done by people here who are "on the inside"  and will continue to be done  I am sure as they are not generally people who like to mislead their downlines

Thanks Mary for raising an interesting topic - we have seen too many bad  programmes promoted at Adland by so called experts and friends.  We need to keep alert and keep each other informed.  I sincerely hope for everyone's sake that uVme is not one of them.

Saludos
Jenny

Hello Mary,

Another good topic and sure that as with any opportunity, there are those that will perceive them as a scam.  I really hate that word too.

How I see the uVme opportunity is that it has great potential to capture a market that advertisers are willing to pay to have their brand placed in front of.  This is the new twist in SN Communities.  Share the wealth with those that get the word out.  uVme has just changed that up a bit.

They are offering you an opportunity to build a business with them and invest in that business.  They have success at building a community site or two and realize that there is an investment to be made and they are spreading that cost among those that decide to invest in that business too.

They also seem to realize not everyone is going to invest in their business but will come utilize the toys on hand.  Have you played any of the games?  I have and they are skill games not games of chance.  Like to play games online?  I like pool care to play a game? http://www.uvme.biz/EVO174750JA

While this may not be for everyone, there are communities out there for you.  I have some listed here http://community.adlandpro.com/forums/thread/841724.aspx

There are some like Big Daddy that has way to earn locally and grow internatinally. http://www.bigdaddypays.com/jallen3d

Mary, you always come to the table with great questions and responses in your forums.  Thanks for the invite.

Jim

I have been with uVme since pre evo days.

Firstly getting people to join as an associate at a cost of 200, plus your 65 per month, plus your 20 each month (if you have no team) to activate your account. Ok, you do gett a little back from this in commissions so it works out to around 70 per month

You can realistically only earn money through bringing in associates at the present time. I was under the impression network marketing is about alot of people doing a little, (promoting the products)

The products, not many at present, although fun to play. uvme is still having teething issues in getting all the games to play. I am unable to play 33% of them as they do not load. emails sent in regarding this issue.

Here is the gamble if you want to play the games.

You need to win 75% of your cash games played just to break even. If you are having a random challenge, the system will pick an opponent of similar ranking. As far as it being a non gambling site, again in my opinion, if you wager any money, that constitutes as a gamble in my book. uVme does not want any association with gambling so if you have any gambling/casino related links on your own website you will be asked to remove them.

What can you say to a prosepective associate when they ask how much have you made when you do not have a downline, (fortunately I have), that they need to introduce people in order to earn any money, which in effect this is what has to happen. Easy if you have no ethics or full of bs, difficult if you do not want to rip people off. It has been said by networking uvme leaders, that they are not interested in players. That is a great way to move products

There are no problems, only solutions - to be dealt with now, or to be left alone & accepted as part of the isness of the present moment. Focus your attention on the Now and tell me what problem you have at this moment. The UK, Ireland, Holland & Germany

Hi Julian, Nice to meet you and you finally found some place to post your first post. You bring up several issues which concerns many uVme people. First, who is making money? The first fast start bonuses were great but those was an accumulation of 6 mos. of work. Those who joined when launced built a business for the uVme group leaders. What happened the next month. If not knew people were found the only income in game playing as you mentioned. It has grown strangely quiet from the early braggers who received the first bonuses on Cycle 1. Who would be willling to lay out $200 plus the liscence fee right up front which now is required? With no downline to bring in the first bonus pay, who is willing to lay out that first initial cost for the sites? I am not finding them! Now you bring up the issue of product. Are you advocating that each affiliate owner is going to play $20 of games each month, by creating 2 accounts? Company stipulations are that any one person can only own one game name and be registered only once as a game player. I thought the idea was to find game players to be customers on your site. This is sounding like each person is their only customer? So let's hear it from all those who can honestly tell a potential associate, "Yes you can make money like me". Buy your business and game site and we will help you build a business that pays.

Hello Everyone,

Well, I must say after reading everyone's responses, I think I can safely assume one of two things;

1) People are speaking about a program that they really have no knowledge of and are assuming alot or;

2) People are involved in the program and have not done the necessary work to become successful.

Whichever the case may be I will tell you my experiences with uVme, which are like many others that are with uVme.

I have been quite successful with uVme since we went live in January and have made money. In fact, each pay cycle my money has increased that I have made, and I am very pleased.

uVme is a very legitimate opportunity and a good money maker. VWD (Virtual World Direct) has a very successful record for the past 6 years with e-Lottery, and continues to do so. uVme is NOT gambling, it is casual games of skill. Gambling is won by luck or chance, online skill games says exactly what they are...SKILL! You practice the games and you play against others with similiar skills and whoever has mastered the game better will win.

Skill games include games such as pool, bowling, darts, chess, checkers, etc. Now I hardly think any of these games have anything to do with gambling, and just because you pay a fee to play a game does not make it gambling. Not everything good in life is free.

Now to acknowledge some of the others things that have been written here so far;

1) The fee - The fee for upgrading to become an Associate or Games Promoter has always been very clearly stated. It states it on the site, it is discussed in every business presentation, and many ads I put out I also mention what it costs. The price is $199.97 USD or $199.97 Euro, or $199.97 Pounds for those that use those different currencies. I am not sure where someone come up with the $400 they were talking about but once again someone doesn't know what they are talking about. There is a $65 a month fee however with only 3 upgraded people under you there is a bonus that people receive that covers that expense so there is NO out of pocket expense. Plus you have other bonuses that you receive that even recoupes the money you paid in to upgrade, so what more can you ask for.

2) Now let's take the issue of finding Associates to join...I think the only people that are having a problem are those that are NOT real Network Marketers and do not know what they are doing. That's not to say people can't be taught because I am teaching many on my Team and they are doing very well, but there are some that think they know more then they do and do not want to listen to training etc and then want to cry about the company or program being no good.

Business online or off takes time and money to be successful! Online business though takes a little more time and effort to make it work and grow...there is NO such thing as a get rich quick scheme. Everything worth having takes work, patience, and alot of dedication. Business is not meant for everyone though...if you do not have a winning and positive attitude you WILL lose. You also get out of something what you put into it, and people need to understand that.

Unfortunately, too many people get online and start in a program and think that do not have to do much, if anything at all, to earn an income and they expect to become rich overnight! A business should see growth each cycle, or pay period however that is measured. If some of these people opened a business offline and did the same things they do online they would NOT be successful either.

Think about this...if you have a store and decide to close tomorrow because you think you have done enough to build your business and make it successful, and open on whatever days you feel like it...how successful will that business be?

I have had biz online and offline and I have been successful with both, but I love business. I have been doing it for years and I have a passion for it. Maybe some of these people here need to find what they are passionate about and do that instead of doing something that they are no good at! I also have a winning and positive attitude, and not to brag, but I am successful at whatever I do. Why is that? It is because I believe in myself and my abilites, I have a positive and winning attitude, and I do not blame others or the program if I am not achieving what I should be. I get out there and do whatever I need to do to make it happen because in the end it is up to ME how well I do!

Have a great day and God Bless You All!

Remember to Stay Positive!

Love Marilyn
