Hi Kathy,
Smiles are contagious, let's pass it on. I believe that most people know by now that I joke quite a bit. I do so especially if I happen to be in a situation where others around me seem to be pre-occupied or perhaps not in the best of moods. As I was being rushed to the hospital eleven years ago when I had my heart attack, I was in a lot of pain. I reached up and tapped the medic on the shoulder and said, "slow down. I here sirens. Let them pass." With a shocked look on her face she replied, "Please, don't try to talk. You've had a heart attack. You are in an Ambulance. It's our siren that you hear." I thought for a second and said, "Oh, than why is everybody passing us? Can't you have him drive faster. I might die, you know." Another shocked look and they both laughed and smiled. I smiled back and said, "That's better. You see, if I do die, the last thing that I want to see is a smile." I realize that some people like me, and some don't. That is just a way of life. I have just found that if a person passes you on the street, Male or Female, gives a slight nod and smile, GOD is happy.

Mike
