Here's my take on this, for what it's worth... As a tradesman, for more years I like to admit, I found the number 1 thing anyone involved in the trades is; inspect your work. I push this theory on anyone, carpenter, plumber, painter, it doesn't matter. When you finish a particular task/project, relax for a few...take a break, then go back to your task/project as a new and different person. Look slowly and carefully at everything. 9 times out of 10 You'll find a missed or messed up (Hey no one's perfict) something there, and while the tools/equipment are all still right there, FIX IT. This one little habit will probably work anywhere, Einstein wasn't wrong too often....
