Oh I completely understand that... Adland is filled with some amazing and wonderful people.. :)

But also, on the other hand, if every one felt that way about nominating, then no one would ever be nominated..

So I guess the way I look at it... is that I'd rather see my friends being nominated, and atleast 1 of them win each month.. rather than no one being nominated and the forum eventually disintegrating..

Just a thought to ponder! :)

Thank you for doing this forum, its very much appreciated.

I will reply to your personal message shortly, but I noticed a post from this forum so here I am!

I would just like to make one thing abundantly clear, and that is the JP Award forum is not intended as a popularity contest and never will be!

I know some people are reluctant to nominate any of their friends in case they upset someone!  "Come on you people lighten up"

If you had nominated just one friend in every forum from when the forum started in December last year, you would by now have pleased 10 friends by now!

I just can't understand this attitude, because if someone is a friend "A real friend" it wouldn't matter to them whether you nominated them or not" and if it did and they told you so then as far as I an concerned they are not worth having as a friend.

I am not prepared to accept nominations by personal message, because thats the easy way out and I have enough to do as it is without trawling through 50 personal messages!

If someone wants to do this and then give me the names ok, but I would rather people have the guts to post their own nominations without pussyfooting around friends they might upset.
