My Dearest Beth !
Some people see these pictures as sad but do not realize that most want this way of life. I talked to a man several years ago to do a write up for a small paper about the homeless and this gentleman told me that it was his choice to live the way he does. The most important thing he owns and nobody can take away from him is his freedom. There was a man in our downtown that we named the pigeon man because he would beg for coins and feed the birds, one day he was in the newspaper that he had died and it was found out that he was a millionaire who left his wife and kids and mansion because he no longer could take the pressure. They found in his rooming house that his mattress had been stuffed with $300,000, so you be the judge.
