These are great but I want to add some thoughts.
First of all a teacher may not appear. Sometimes you have to seek out a person who will be your mentor and friend.
I would also add that life's experience is the best teacher and yes that will appear eventually by itself.
Your quote about the journeys end is the motto by which I live. To go from A to point B with having the eyes only on the end (point B) is such a waste. Enjoy the ride.
Ann Landers some years ago used the illustration of the train trip. Since then I have learned to enjoy the trip and not focus on the destination. Someone once said, getting there is half the fun.
On the third one: From the Bible, even the lillies of the field are clothed but they do not spin or weave. However, we are human and need to take some action if we wish to accomplish our goals. I believe your quote is referring to worry----it is a waste of time. What will happen will happen wether we act or re-act or not.
