I just wondered, since no one seems to go back and READ the rules that maybe when a photo is posted we should include the following:

Photograher
Link to Photo
"I attest to the fact that this photo was taken by me, copyrighted by me, or owned by me.
Would that help? Frankly, I am wondering about some earlier winners. The 'puppies in a bowl' has been showing up in my emails. So Judy may not be the only one who 'did not read rules'. Actually when you go back and read her entry, she does not say it is her photo.
Just trying to help and keep everything legal here at ALP. You and John should not have to check out each entry. Where there is money involved, copyright and legal issues have to be acknowledged.
John has taken some terrific photographs and I feel sure he would not want someone to steal them and make money off them. It is a wonderful forum but rules are rules.
