My dear friend James, you know i couldnt pass this forum up without adding my two cents lol. I am very pleased with you in a way of recognizing the heart of the Apostle Paul and Silas and the Thessalonian churches also in Berea and Athens these people of Anthens worshipped back then an alter inscripted "To An unknown God" The God that the Apostle paul, Silas preached was the God i worship and you worship today as it reads in Acts 17: 24 "The God who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in temples built by hands." if you'll read on he says in v. 25 And he is not served by human hands, as if he needed anything, because he himself gives all men life and breath and everything else. I love this whole chapter James and it pertains to what we as humans must do for Him God/Jesus Christ my Lord whom i follow, another thing is that Jesus taught us to obey our mother and father but put his Kingdom first and all these treasures will be given to you, treasures in heaven (Good deeds) treasures on earth (friends, acts of kindness, a return on your investment)theres more to that but i just wanted to make a point. Thank you James for your great understnding of these great men and there acts in the Book of Acts , remember that the Apostle Paul and Silas were in prison just before there travels to these places for advocating customs unlawful for the Romans at the time and did not accept there practices. But thank God for that jailer who listened to them huh? Enjoy your evening my friend.
