When your stressed out does breathing alone help you calm down. Try breathing accompanied by a metal exercise: Close your eye, and picture a place you love (the mountains, oceans) breath in the small of the salt water, and feel the ocean breeze on your skin. Now breath out all the stress you feel, breath in the warmth of the sun. Now breath out the stress, feel it drain from your body.
