Hello Fellow Networker,
Finding a home based business isn't easy, with it comes many
decisions and frustrations. My goal is to help see what to look for
when picking your business. Working from home can be very rewarding
when done right.
When I'm Looking For An Opportunity, I Look For These Qualities.
The first thing I want to know is how the compensation plan works. I
always preferred direct sales over any other structures out there
because you get compensated for your own efforts. You know your own
ability and can therefore always rely on yourself!
I always make sure there's NO passing up sales or qualification
required. You'll make more money faster because there are no "pass-ups"
required. As a new distributor, you would keep your full commission on
every single sale made from the very beginning.
Make sure your leverage as an upline sponsor never ends with a unique
compensation plan, as you'll want to continue to receive commissions on
every single sale made by your fellow distributors forever - instead of
just 1 or 2 "training sales". Now that's a well structured compensation
plan.
Network marketing has always been based on the idea of working for 3-5
years and building a life long residual income that you can will to
your grandkids. The problem is you'll need hundred's of members to make
enough money to leave your regular job. Way too long for me. I need my
money today not 3-5 years from now. Do your due dilligence to find a
business that pays top commissions of $300.00 or more per sale. Doing
so will make your goal of working from home come sooner. That's why I
prefer direct sales, get paid today when you need the money.
The second thing I look for is if the product can stand on it's own.
You want a product that has mass appeal. People either want it or need
it, because the only way you make an INC0ME is from people purchasing
this product from you.
The third thing I look for is how long the company has been in
business. You want a company that has been around longer than a year.
Statistics show most opportunities that are unstable fold within their
first 6 months... so I give a 6 month cushion for myself.
Next, I look for some automation. Why? Automation frees a lot of time
and if there is a strong system in place, it will do the DIRTY work for
me! I can then spend my time on INC0ME producing activity... or non
business related things that I love to do.
I also want to be sure there is a good training and support system in
place. I do not want the burden of training everyone who joins me in
the business. I want that to be pretty automated as well. Of course,
some interaction is necessary and healthy...after all I don't mind
doing SOME of the work.
Lastly, I want to know people are having success in the business. I
always like to hear testimonials to know people are making money, it
reassures my decision.
I hope I was helpful in helping you make the right decisions in finding a home based business.
P.S. There's a lucrative alternative to the tiny checks and dead downlines
of MLM gains popularity. If you're tired of auto-ship, building
downlines, having to qualify to get paid, convincing your friends and
loved ones, downline is shrinking, monthly fees and worried the owner
might run off with everyone's money then please read the "Coffee House"
letter.
