Amanda had the courage to go into harm's way to do her part so that others would remain informed.  Her worst fears were realized when she was kidnapped.  Eighty two days is a very long time.  I cannot imagine the fear she must have felt.  Yet, thankfully, she is here to tell about it.  This is courage.

Jill most certainly put herself in harm's way for a cause that she believes in.  This is to be admired.  One person true to herself. 

I see the world in a differentlight when I see people like Jill who give their all for a cause, even if it means giving up your life for that cause.

She is an awesome example for our young girls.

What a debt we owe this lady.  Yet, if we were to honor her, she would just say that she did her duty.

Her story is a very frightening one.  Her captivity must have been horrendous.  Yet there is a happy ending.  She would have done the same thing had the ending been unhappy.

This courage I cannot imagine.  Yet Jill had that passion to follow her heart regardless of the consequences.
