Thank you for your moving post.  You put everything in a new perspective. 

How very interesting that you have Native American ancestors also.  My ancestors go back to the Apaches in New Mexico but I still have to do much more research.  My great grandmother was Apache.  When I was little, my grandfather wrote a book about his ancestors and upon his death, my uncle threw it away.  What a shame, as he was his son and there were volumes of history in that book.  Now, little by little from what I remember, I am going back and putting the pieces back in the puzzle.

Forgiveness is paramount for a life of freedom.
