Dear Judy!

I was hoping that some more Veteran's would come by and maybe share a story or a picture - come on guys I know you are out there!

Thank you so much Nick. These are truly very special people. While sane rational people abhor war in every form it takes, we the citizens are called upon to support those who fight for our freedoms.

We seem to have become complacent about our everyday freedoms and only give lip service to those who serve while our current crop of leaders think it is somehow patriotic to demoralize our soldiers by not being united behind them.

It would be great to see every free citizen come together to stand up to those who want to destroy our freedoms and way of life-these young people are making the ultimate sacrifice for us-lets be with them wholeheartly until they all are safe back at home.

Our men and women need to know that we are here for them and with them and behind them in order to keep on doing what they do.

I think the best thing for all is to send all kids who turn 14 to boot camp for summer holidays and get a little taste on why they have the freedoms they have now. Show them what is happening overseas and simulations on life and death situations, I really think this would straighten out a good portion of our young troubled teens!

That is a wonderful idea! I didn't exactly to that - but close:) I used to send mine out to work with my brother on old houses in the summer and not let him back in until he was tired, hungry and dirty.
My kids also lived for awhile in Indonesia so they got to see a little of living outside the US.
The result -we produced a Marine - 19 years anmd still proudly serving our country.
