	On July 4, 1776, we claimed our independence from Britain and Democracy was born. Every day thousands leave their homeland to come to the "land of the free and the home of the brave" so they can begin their American Dream. The United States is truly a diverse nation made up of dynamic people. Each year on July 4, Americans celebrate that freedom and independence with barbecues, picnics, and family gatherings. Through the Internet we are learning about and communicating with people of different nations, with different languages and different races throughout the world. Bringing the world closer with understanding and knowledge can only benefit all nations. We invite all nations to celebrate with Americans online this Fourth of July. Happy Birthday, America!

	Hi Thomas, Thank you for posting this. It is really interesting. You hear everyday of nations where people are not even free to make any decisions in their own lives. It is hard to believe there are places like this, being born in America, but I know there are. Being a African-American I heard of slavery, marches(Martin Luther King Jr.) growing up, and not being there, it was hard to imagine from just hearing about it until, I saw the show roots. I think this is a horrible way for so called human beings to treat any of God's children. I personally have nothing but love for all and Happy 4th of July. Beryl

	I know, i know Beryl sometimes we have to look, really look at the price of freedom and discover for ourselves, i on the other hand follow my Lord and savior to help me look past the problems that keep coming back to haunt us and TRY! to make it better all away around. Dont be fooled by Mans wisdom. One thing about my family history on my fathers side is that i am a desent of a black slave, im not proud of what happened back then but i am Proud of what is happening today!
