Congrats!

My Daddy made my brother and I a go-kart out of our old pushchair and a long plank of wood.  It had steering but no brakes.  Had great fun.  Our village had a steep hill going up to the club house.

It was so thrilling bumping down the hill.  (Positively dangerous too, I suppose but we survived to tell the tale).  It was a great go-kart and the other kids would line up to have their turn.  I was so proud of my Daddy.  I'd tell everyone "My Daddy made this for us"

Great stuff.  You brought back fond memories with your bio.  Thanks and enjoy your week of stardom!

Marilyn, Deborah, Donna S, Rick, Nan, Dr Venerina & Kenneth,

Wow, what can I say?  Well "Gob Smacked" is the first phrase I would use and and a few more unprintable expletive ones as well.

It doesn't seem that long but I have been a member here since the 27th of February 2005 and in that time I have made many friends here.

I would just like to thank you all for doing this for me and to whoever it was who put my name forward in the first place, I will respond to all the posts but not necessarily all at once!
