To my many friends in the USA.......

Happy 4th of July!

In 1976 (was the 200 year anniversary of US independence) I attented July 4th celebrations in St. Pete's Beach  (St Petersburg) Florida.

The fireworks show they put on there was awesome.

The show was all over the night sky over the Gulf of Mexico.

Everyone had firecrackers (outlawed here in Canada when I still a kid) and I had a big bag of them to light off myself.

Also that was the first time I had ever seen (or heard) of the M1 firecracker (I think it's really a little stick of dynamite)....in any event, the M1 was one loud firecracker
