HI Everyone,

I have had a couple people inquiring about my name recently so I decided to let everyone know what my name now reads Marilyn L Martin and not Marilyn L Ali-Martin anymore. LOL!

Sounds silly right? I thought so too, but people wonder and worry about the craziest things. :) I was Marilyn "L." before and I am still Marilyn "L." now...I just finally dropped the Ali part. I left Ali on for a while because everyone knew me here by that, and I wanted people to get use to me being married and to my name being Martin now. The "L" is the first initial of my middle name. You all have middle names, don't you? LOL! ;)

I hope this clears any questions that people have about my name now. Now, let's all have a great day and a wonderful weekend ahead.

  I had no problem with it.  I felt that you were just trying to do your best to give old friends a chance to get used to your new name by incorporating your old name alongside so that they could connect the dots.  As we all know, there are a small percentage, (very small) of people that would rather include extra dots.  The main concern that your closer friends have for you is the fact that you are much happier now than you ever have been.  Remember, a Rose by any other name is just a Daisy.  It is so nice that men don't have to change their names.  Peace!!
