Dear Thomas,
I do agree with your comments on the exceptional questions proposed by sue. But I would like to add the following comments:
Heaven is not a Country nor a Beverly House home, its the way and manner that we build our thoughts and desires, and to think the way Christ Jesus taught us. The good things we do embodies us in the good things of God , and we see the results from the good things we receive. Joy, Hope and confidence.
Our hope reaches heaven, when we see others as we are, when we see no difference between the poor and the rich , and when we labor for human development. Giving a piece of bread to some poor beggar is like ,giving him his heavens desire.
As a Christian, I know that it is essential to do a little good everyday. As we expect some love from God every hour, the reward of our heavenly desire comes out clearly when we give same to others daily. The reward for good deeds is like building our Heavinly path.
To live a Happy Life, we must see our heaven in the 'things which are not seen' For things which are seen are temporal, while things which are not seen are eternal. The Bible says, Its the Spirit that quickeneth, the flesh profiteth nothing'. We delight in our spiritual self, in the understanding which is above human sight nor power. Only by living in this way can we see our heaven on earth.
Heaven departs far from us , as we are embodied by the sins we commit. Jesus died for our sins, not for our personal sins, but for the redemption of Humanity. We must strive to overcome our own sins, to make a place for us in heaven. A home of truth and Love.
