My Dear Friend Branka,
"My company mascot is the bumblebee. Because of its tiny wings and heavy body, aerodynamically the bumblebee shouldn't be able to fly. But the bumblebee doesn't know that, so it flies anyways."
-- Mary Kay Ash
What a nice story!
Let me share one of my favorite fairy-tales about two frogs with you.
The frogs got into pots full of milk and started fighting to survive. First one gave up and drowned, the other one did not give up, it churned out butter and survived. I am like the other one:)
These stories are similar, are not they?
I love them. What you and I'm doing -- just are flying if it looks impossible or churn out butter to survive. It's better than to give up.
You are a strong woman, you are a wise woman, and you are going to be OK. I have such feeling :)
Branka, God never fails. We fail Him, but He NEVER fails us. Life is impossible without losses. The worst thing happened in my life 2 years ago, when my husband died. I thought I would not survive, I felt completely lost. By then, I lived in USA 3 years only, and felt like an orphan. But I knew God did not leave me, and He helped me so wonderfully. I just relied upon Him and became much closer to Him than ever before.
Saddest events have a good side always. We can't see it immediately often, but later on we can. I understood that my hard times made me closer to God, and made me happier because of it. As for my husband, I know that he is in best world where there is no pain or sufferings. I know he always watches my son and me, and this makes me feel good.
I feel so sorry about your sister. You family is getting through hard times. Please, tell them that there are people who say their prayers for them. I will go to church this morning, say my prayers, and light a candle for all of you.
I know that God is with you, just keep your hearts opened to listen to Him.
God bless you all,
Natalya
