Hi BJ-

That certainly is pathetic!

What if we all e-mailed him with an offer to "buy a bridge" or take options on some "vacation swampland"?

I am often amazed at the number of ridiculous solicitations that are on the net. Kind of makes you wonder about mankind, doesn't it?

Have a truly awesome day,

JeanMarie

Bill

Thanks for  giving this warning.  No  matter how careful, people could very easily fall victims of such scams.

I have seen these scams  posted on Bank's "look-alike" pages even with their Logos. Paypal is another site  scammers often like to copy.

Scammers usually address you as "Dear Customer", "Dear Paypal user" etc, whereas banks address you by your real name.

Scammers usually give you a threat like " We will have to close your account unless.... "

Or "we are updating our system.... "

Never click on the link provided by the scammers., and never give any information. If you are concerned about the contents of the mail,  visit the Bank' website as you normally do by typing the address you know on the address bar and check whether there is any such news there.

PLEASE BE ALERT

You are so right, Bill.  This one is the most pathetic one yet - And yet, there will be some that fall for it.  You and both know that.  It is just sad that this has to keep occurring.  It is laughable and cryable at the same time!
