The Importants Of Plans
6/5/2007 9:42:07 AM

As i look out at the Pacific Ocean today near my house i often pray to God for what kind of plan he has instore for me today. I would like to share of how important plans are to God and his kingdom here on earth to you.  In Psalms read Psalm 20:1-5. From v.4 we can draw two conclusions: a) God wants his people to have plans. b) When his people have godly plans, he wants to bless those plans. 2.) Why do you think many religious people have no real plans for their spiritual development, but at the same time have various plans for other aspects of the lives? 3.) If we dont have plans, then obviously God cannot make those plans succeed. It is, of course, possible to over-plan or to plan so much you can't possibly get to it all (as in my case). But we all need plans- plans that God can bless. Write down elements in your plan for future growth in your walk with God.

Thomas I am enjoying your series, it is tastefully done and offered as a choice like fine food at a magnificent banquet.

The only point I would offer to add to this would be to warn people that -when God blesses what you have planned-the tasks that appear before you seldom look anything like what you thought you had planned!

I have found that God just thinks bigger than I do; I make little plans and He presents challenges to make me grow big enough to receive the blessing to be found in the original plan that I thought I had made.

Ya gotta keep a sense of humor and just "take it on!"

Keep up the good work.

You think God likes to have us sad, bogged down and poor in Spirit? No! He has the same mantallity as you or me, he likes to have fun! he likes to have us enjoy the full benifits of life! but he also wants us to know that he's still in charge, there for where the challenges come into play. Keep the Faith! and thank you for the compliment.

I'm sure I didn not say that.
I do not use words like sad. I don't have sad feelings very often.
I only said or intended to express, that I have found that when I ask for something, I have to be prepared to learn and to grow in order to get it.
In the process, I get a whole lot more than I bargained for.
