Excerise...for what?

Walking can add minutes to your life. This enables you at 85 years
old to spend an additional 5 months in a nursing home at $5000 per
month.

My grandmother started walking five miles a day when she was 60. Now
she's 97 years old and we don't know where the hell she is.

The only reason I would take up exercising is so that I could hear heavy breathing again.

I joined a health club last year, spent about 400 bucks. Haven't lost a pound. Apparently you have to go there.

I have to exercise early in the morning before my brain figures out
what I'm doing.

I like long walks, especially when they are taken by people who annoy
me.

I have flabby thighs, but fortunately my stomach covers them.

The advantage of exercising every day is that you die healthier.

If you are going to try cross-country skiing, start with a small
country.

And last but not least: I don't exercise because it makes the ice
jump right out of my glass.

You could run this over to your friends but why not just e-mail it to
them!

Forget exercise, I'm going to bed.

hi,

i was operated about 18 months back for a heart ailment. ever since, my doctor, my neighbors, wife, friends, parking lot attendant, you name, i have it, have been going at me hammer and tongs for not having the early-bird syndrom of walking 5 kms a morning.

me being a lazy lout (my bro) cannot stomack(!) this but have been fobbing them off on one pretext or other. the only thing i have learnt by walking on the road early morning are to step on dog litter, having to meet with unwanted people, who i detest most of my life and the urge to get back into the comforts of my bed as soon as i am back.

on the weiught front, i do not think i have lost even one ounze of fat (my wife has grown 2 inches to her waist, i know, she refuses to admit).

Ye Gad, isnt there another alternative?

the weight gain i had post-operation, post-giving up active smoking (from 40 cigarettes to five) are all taking their toll on my appearance, still the public at large refuse to believe the weight gain is due to this.  is there any suggestions?

anxiously waiting.
