I have goosebumps also to see it in writing the attack on our counrty and it coming from the Islamic Bible terrifies me.

Maybe we should or our government should look further into the Koren.

Our Bible states that the "Beast shall rise from the East "and Iraque is definitly in our East so as to give a clue to what may hold in Americas future.

Correct Lee, and i have heard of this before, many times from past history and in the Bible as well. As i read the Apostle Pauls word as it is directly to me he says in Ephesians 4:1-3 "As a prisoner for the Lord, then I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling yo recieved. Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace." It is a popular concept these days for this pàrt of the Koran to be singled out and for the assumption to be made that the Eagle refers to the United States of America.

However, apart from the fact that the USA did not exist as a nation when the Koran was written, there are many older cultures that have used the Eagle as their countries symbol.  i dont know the answer, but think that the correlation between the eagle and the USA in this instance is possibly not the correct one - Convenient propaganda for the USA but nevertheless not proven.  I think we may be in danger of not looking at this passage of the Koran objectively.and its its historical setting.

I have heard this contested before and found this in Wikepedia to illustrate that the USA is not alone in adopting the Eagle - it was in fact used by many before.
