What a lot of talented poets and beautiful poems. We all write for various reasons. I wrote this poem for my sister Maureen who was murdered by her ex - partner last year.

A Poem for Maureen

 M is for Miraculous, a miracle from above

A is for Amazing, you filled our lives with love

U is for Unique, beautiful, special and kind

R is for Rare, a gem so hard to find

E is for Everlasting, the love we have for you

E is for Enchanted, by all those that you knew

N is for Never-ending, your love has no end

 Mum, Maur, Bub you were our mum, daughter, sister, aunty, nanny and friend

Sadly missed, until we meet again
