Bill went on a business trip to Bound Brook NJ with a group of Pathe Co. engineers to examine a new photographic process. It turned into a disaster. In a small hotel Bill drank Apple Jack (Jersey Lightning) and was drunk for 3 days. His contract with Wheeler and Winans was cancelled. Hi Sharon ~ thanks for posting that history update about AA

Alcoholics Anonymous is such a great program and has helped so many folks... i'm glad to see AA mentioned here!

Kuel Beth!! I just returned from a meeting here in my town. Refreshing it was!!!

We tend to forget after a while how important the meetings are. Maybe I will start a Forum on the topic..We shall see how many post on this one!!

I have been a member of Al-Anon for years as my mother was

an alcoholic that died of the disease 10 years ago. It is a wonderful

program and no one should be ashamed to admit they are a member.

It has helped me immensely and has helped 1000's more.
