Congratulations again for being VOTW this week with Nan.
Congratulations for 27 years of marriage to you and Diane too. I believe committment in marriage speaks volumes for a person. That said, I don't believe anyone should stay if its an abusive one. I've seen those and the damage that is done is tremendous and often times beyond repair.
I love my Yorkies! They were 8 & 6 years when I got them. That makes them 10 & 8 this year. They weren't littermates, but they are inseparable. The eldest isn't in good health, although some days you can't tell!
I saw where you had lost your faithful friend. It hurts ... I've been there ... done that more times than I like.
The "Dusty" I mentioned in my poem yesterday, was a Pomeranian. I lost him when he was mauled by another dog. I was 15 at the time and he had been the 3rd best friend I lost by that time.
I always remember my animals with great love and fondness after they're gone. They are every bit as much a part of my family as though they were human too.
Thank you for the special wishes for my Grandmother. I look forward to being her age one day and still being as feisty as she is!
