It is fun finding friends from here over there.
However, I have just received a mail from Support explaining that there is a daily limitation on how many contacts/friends we can invite. ( hope you all took advantage of the free upgrade for the first 2,500 members!)
The reason they give sounds pretty reasonable to me
"We set this because to prevent users from doing mass adding and spamming
other
users."
It is unusual to have so many people join at once and I guess the sudden increase in membership over the past couple of days has been unusual. There must be at least 5 forums on ALP alone! lol and we have all received loads of invite.
I guess it will just take us a couple of days to catch up with our ALP friends and then we will be able to make new ones.
I notice that you can join many peoples' groups without having to make them your contacts - so that seems to be a temporary solution.
