Yes, having a National Registry might help, but my true concern is for all of us to be aware in our every day lives of people we know, especially the children, who we sense are having anger problems, relationship issues, isolation issues, etc. These are the ones that end up abusing. I would like our Country to see that education, counseling, good jobs that pay a living wage, etc are what will ultimately make a difference, so that we won't have the abusers in the first place. Putting them on a list "after the fact" is not the answer to stopping the causes of why people are driven to abuse another person.
