There is a new stamp called the "Forever" stamp. The stamp will be good indefinitey on First Class, 1oz letters,, Regardless of any price increase,, So Buy em up!!
First class mail flats up to 13oz=.80
First class mail parcels up to 13oz (Anything over 3/4" thick will be a Parcel from now on)=#1.13
.17 cents for each additional oz.
Letters may not exceed 11 1/2" Length OR 6 1/8" Height OR 1/4" thickness.
Flats (Larger envelopes) May not exceed 15" Length OR 12" Height OR 3/4" Thickness.
Parcels exceed at least one of the maximum dimensions of a flat.
PRIORITY Mail=$4.60 Up to 1 Lb.
Flat rate envelope=$4.60
Flat rate box=$8.95
Post and Stamped cards=.26 cents (Stamped cards have a total price of .28 cents EACH)
Express Mail=$16.25 up to 8 oz,, Flat rate envelope=$16.25
Express mail Package up to 1 Lb=$19.50

Certified mail=$2.65 In Addition to the postage.

MICRONESIA,, Air mail letters 1oz=.61 cents // Post and Stamped cards=.62 cents
Other Countries,, Air mail letters 1oz=.90 cents // Post and Stamped cards=.90 cents,, Each additional oz, up to a weight of 8oz=.90 cents additional.
With these new rates,,SIZE Matters. If you have a number 10 envelope of which is under 2oz. Your rate will drop from .63 cents to .58 cents BUT if you have a 2 oz flat which is larger than a number 10 envelope, Your rate will go from .63 cents to .97 cents.
A 2 oz Parcel which is over 3/4" thick will Raise from .63 cents to $1.30
The new rate increase varies from a +50.2% for 2 oz flats to +90.5% for a 2oz Parcel.
Postage will no longer be based Soley on weight.
Letter Ratio== Length/Width must fall within a "1.3 and 2.5 ratio"
6x9 1/2" envelope= 1.5 is OK
4x10" envelope= 2.5 is OK
6x6" envelope= 1 and is NOT OK.. Is a Flat rate charge.
Also,,FYI on Advertising materials,, A Unfolded letter or flyer will cost more!! Unfolded pages inserted into flats will cost more. To Save money, You should fold and place into a #10 or 6x9 envelope.
