I just received an email this morning about this issue. Thank you for letting everyone know about this very important issue...I know this is going to be a big problem for some people. I just have to thank God that I did not use e-gold much at all...just a couple of times. I never really had a good feeling about them! I know many times hackers were able to hack into people's accounts, so I never kept any money there!

I feel bad for the people that did though...I will keep them in my prayers, and hope no one gets too badly burnt by this.

Thank you for sharing that information, Sharon.  There's too many of these problems with the pay processors. 

Four years ago the only well known pay processors were PayPal, StormPay and E-gold.  They've all had their problems which in turn creates a problem for the users ... us.  Now there's new ones popping up all the time.

Personally, I prefer companies who send cheques, but unfortunately some of the smaller businesses find it easier to use the pay processors especially those who are international.

Sometimes we feel forced into joining some of these processors. I have. But now with the new US laws on international fundings. I see everyone is being investigated now. I am sticking to Paypal for now. I have had them over 4 years and no problems yet (Knock,,,knock)

We really should just go back to the good old Money orders and snail mail....;-)
