Hi Brian,
This is part of a most interesting series of finds over the years.
Two very interesting sites are http://byerly.org/whatifo.htm , http://www.strangemag.com/erraticenigmatics.html and http://s8int.com/sophis3.html
These finds are commonly called "ooparts," or out-of-place artifacts. They are out of place on the generally accepted timeline.
Some of the "discoveries" seem to have been proven to be fakes, but many of them are not explainable unless the conventional timelines are ignored.
Pharaoh's chariots fall into this category, because their is no known reason other than the account from the Bible for these things to be where they are.
A google search for ooparts delivers some very interesting information.
God bless,
Dave
