Roger, only you would come up with a song like that! You made me think of this song by Stevie Wonder, which of course brings back memories from the early to mid 80's. I was flying my first air ambulance job in a Cessna 206 in 1984 back and forth between a place called San Carlos, Az and Phoenix, Az. I was stationed on an Apache Indian Reservation, and all I flew were Apache Indians back and forth to Phoenix. It was exciting and a challenge, and yes I listened to Stevie Wonder on the radio while I was flying!

Pheonix brings back memories for me as I was so impressed by Pheonix from the air, evening/dusk.

Only my second ever flight and we touched down at Pheonix on route San Diego-London, England.

Pheonix seemed one huge pale lit up flat expanse from horizon to horizon with little autos scurrying for home. A great sight.

Can't wait to return.
