Joe, My Dear Friend!

God certainly does work in mysterious ways. Before my accident I was a completely different person than I am now. I never went to church or wore a cross and every woman was my target. To even think about reading or writing religious poems was something a woman would do and not for me. But it seems when I recovered he had a different plan for me and now I spread his name, go to church every Sunday and have a wife that I would give my life for. So, yes my friend, he has special plans for us all, whether it comes early in life or later, he does come to us all - God Bless you and your loved ones!

I just read your post to Joe.  Ya know, if I had seen the "light" in my youth instead of my mid 30's, I wouldn't know everything I know now, it would have diminshed the wisdom I obtained during the "black" years.  I look back now and wonder who that person was who occupied by body and soul.  I know it was someone different from the person who is writing this to you today.

And, what could be better than that.  That instead of bitter or woeful over lost time that I can spend every day in total gratitude of God's forgiveness and in the great lessons and wisdom I have from having "been there".  

His special plans for me probably still have a long way to go before I have realized them all.
